Methodology
Every figure on this site is taken from a page the clinic publishes. The check date on a listing is the date that page was read. The current set was read on 3 November 2026. A starting price is not a quote.
The comparable total
For one implant and one crown, the total is:
- the published combined fee, when the page states that the crown is included, or
- the published implant fee plus the published crown fee, when they are separate lines.
If the page gives a range, the "from" end is used for sorting and the range is shown. If the page does not say whether the crown is included, there is no comparable total. The listing still appears, with the clinic's own wording, and it sorts after the comparable totals. The default order is explained on How we rank.
"Not stated" means the page we checked does not say. It does not mean the clinic never provides that item.
The value score
The default order is the value score on How we rank. The weights are fixed: price 30, written guarantee 20, Google reviews 20, technology 10, inclusions 10, locations and weekend opening 5, free consultation and a payment plan 5. They add up to 100.
The price part uses every comparable total on this site, not only the clinics left after a county filter. A filter changes who you see. It does not change anyone's score.
Google review points are 20 times (the star rating divided by 5) times (the number of reviews divided by that number plus 50). Guarantee points are 20 times the stated years divided by 20, with a maximum of 20. A published lifetime guarantee on the implant is scored as 20. Technology and inclusion points are 2.5 for each published item. Location points are the Ireland location count, capped at 4, divided by 4, times 3, plus 2 if weekend opening is published.
The ranking reflects published information only. It does not measure how well a clinic treats patients. A blank is not a failing mark. It means we did not find the fact on a page we could cite.
Full arch score
The full arch view uses the same seven weights. Two parts change, because a full arch is not the same purchase as one tooth.
- Price, still 30 points. The figure is the published starting price per jaw. The lowest per-jaw price in the set scores 30 and the highest scores 0, on the same straight line as a single implant. If the page does not say the price is per jaw, or does not publish a full arch price, that part is 0 and the table says not published. The score uses every published per-jaw price on the site, not only the county on screen.
- Guarantee, still 20 points. This uses only a length stated on the full arch package. A number of years scores 20 times those years divided by 20, and stops at 20. Lifetime, if the full arch text says lifetime, scores 20. A single-tooth guarantee is not copied across. If the full arch package does not state a length, the score is 0.
- Inclusions, still 10 points. 2.5 points for each of temporary teeth, final teeth, and sedation when the full arch package says they are included, and 2.5 if the consultation is included or free. Extra and not published both score 0. Extra is shown with a cross. Not published stays not published.
Google reviews, technology, locations, weekend opening, a free consultation and a payment plan are clinic facts. They use the same points in both views. The toggle on the results, the compare page and each clinic page switches the price, the guarantee and the inclusion rows. It does not change the weights.
The six checks
Each single-implant listing is marked yes or no on the same six points. The count is shown on the clinic page. You can sort by it. It is a count of published information, not a score for dentistry.
- A comparable price for one implant and one crown.
- Crown, scan or imaging, and consultation each stated.
- Bone graft stated as included or extra.
- An implant dentist named on the page checked.
- A written warranty with a duration.
- Follow-up or aftercare stated.
What we do not add
- Star ratings, review counts, or quotes from patients.
- A best-match badge, a pin, or any label that is not calculated from the published prices.
- A national average. The range on the homepage is the lowest and highest comparable total in this set of listings.
- Prices from clinics we have not opened. If a page failed or the scope of a fee was unclear, the listing says so.
Advertising standards
The Dental Council's Code of Practice on Public Relations and Communications says public information should be truthful, factual, relevant and accurate, and should not mislead or take advantage of the public's lack of knowledge of dental matters. Source: Code of Practice (PDF), accessed 3 November 2026. This website is not a dental practice and it does not advertise a dentist's services. The pages still avoid superlatives, testimonials, before-and-after photographs, and any claim about treatment outcome.
